Biography
Frank Ard holds a master’s degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of South Alabama, where he teaches English Composition. He is a 2010 graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop in Seattle, Washington. He works in the fields of fiction, poetry, and tangential essays, his work appearing in such venues as Suspense Magazine, Kaleidotrope, Birmingham Arts Journal, Fantastique Unfettered, The Future Fire, and the recent Broken Time Blues anthology. In addition to writing, he served three years as editor of Oracle Fine Arts Review, two as fiction editor and one as editor-in-chief. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Rhetoric in the not too distant future, an effort to satisfy a deep-felt curiosity about interpersonal communication. He is currently working on a short story collection about animals and a novel about machines.
